Sad to report that the Fall River dance option for Fridays is no longer available. The Cultural Center was sold.

The new owner is open to a Monday night dance if there are enough people to pay the ballroom fee.

To pay the ballroom fee and someone to work the door, we need a minimum of about 45 people to pay in advance for the first couple of dances. We would still allow people to pay at the door for entry.

We built up to about 70 people when we took a break for summer. If we can get back to that or better, we won't have to do a "pay in advance".

I can volunteer to DJ the dances (lesson then all request dancing for beginners and upper levels including partners) to get it started. I'm not available until late Jan/Feb 2026.

If no one is interested in a Monday dance and/or pay in advance, that's fine.

Having a fabulous ballroom with so much space for multiple dance dancing (floor splits and partners) was wonderful while it lasted.

We enjoyed dancing without having to drive through Providence to get to our fall back multiple dance place (Mishnock Barn).

Maybe people can start a car pool for visiting the Mishnock Barn in West Greenwich. That's where I'll be most Fridays. Contact me if interested in car pooling.
